2010 Baseball Bats Reviews
Senior League TPX TRITON Baseball Bat:
The unique 3 piece design of the TPX Triton baseball bat allows the barrel and handle to be designed and guilt as individual units. The transition bubble area brings everything together to function as a more advanced 1-piece bat.
The BUBBLE TRANSITION ZONE adds strength to the handle and transition area. The Bubble Transition optimizes the relationship between the barrel and handle, making a stiffer and stronger bat. The handle is made even stiffer and stronger with the addition of the Bubble Transition Zone. A stiff baseball bat means less wasted energy.
TPX SLXT Triton uses an exclusive computer designed pattern that precisely positions the angles of graphite layers during construction, resulting in an extra-long barrel with a huge sweet spot, outstanding performance and added durability.
• 3X 3-piece composite design
• Bubble transition zone
• 2 5/8″ barrel, -10 oz. without grip
• Synthetic grip, 7/8″ standard handle
• Louisville Slugger end cap
• Too light for High School play

New TPX H2 from Louisville features an exclusive 1-piece design that bonds the ST+20 barrel and new exclusive 3X full composite handle & transition area seamlessly providing outstanding performance of a 1 piece stiff handle design. H2 Hybrid design uses a full 3x composite handle and transition area (100%) allowing for an even stiffer handle than Exogrid. The -5 weight drop makes a great transition bat for the better player.
Building off the success of Exogrid, H2 Technology is the next step in optimizing the Composite/Alloy Hybrid Design. The barrel section of H2 is constructed of the industry leading St+20 alloy providing outstanding strength and toughness, greater performance, feel and sound that top college and HS players demand. A lighter/stiffer handle/transition area means a longer barrel and sweet spot. A stiffer handle produces more barrel flex resulting in maximum trampoline effect and ultimately greater performance.

The Exogrid concept is simple: increase handle stiffness without increasing weight.
Stiff is good – Stiffer is even better. The last thing you want at the moment of contact is for your bat handle to flex. When the handle flexes, the barrel can’t. That reduces your trampoline effect. A stiff handle produces more barrel flex, resulting in maximum trampoline effect and, ultimately, greater performance.
Exclusive Exogrid Bi/Fusion process
Using a combination of heat and extreme pressure, the sleeve, inserts and metal wall are bonded to function as a single, solid unit.
Carbon Composite Inserts
Metal is trimmed in a grid pattern, then replaced with carbon composite inserts that are several times stronger and lighter than the metal they replace.
Internal Carbon Composite Sleeve
The heart of the Exogrid is the carbon sleeve, which provides greater handle stiffness than aluminum alone ever could. Unidirectional fibers run the full length of the handle.
A new dimension in performance technology.
